Dear Chapter Advisors,
This year at Fall Delegate Assembly, we would like to have chapter banners. We would like to give an opportunity for all chapters to show who they are and where they are from in a parade of chapters at the opening session. We ask all chapters make a banner that represents their chapter. Please include your name chapter and school. The rest is up to the chapter's discretion. Maybe showing how your chapter is planning to Amplify Your Life or FCCLA-HERO would be a nice added touch.
We may do this again next year, so you may want to keep your banner from year to year or just make a very special and personalized banner for this year. Examples of things you may want to put on your banners are names of everyone in your chapter, year, and goals that you would like to accomplish through this year. Or any other information that you feel will help other chapters get to know your chapter.
The banner may be as big as you would like it to be. But please keep in mind we will be asking you to hold it for the parade of chapters. After the parade we would like your chapter to display their banner upfront. Please bring will a stand or some way to display your banner.
We ask that two students carry in your chapter banner at the opening session on Nov. 7th. Please indicate the banner carriers on the attendee list with registration so they can be announced.
Also, can you please send a photo of your chapter with the banner for the opening session? We would like the photo no later than Nov. 1st so it can be put in the power point.
