The essential function of the council shall be program development, program implementation and public relations. The State Executive Council shall have the following responsibilities:
- Review the aims and objectives of the state program of Minnesota, Association of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America- HERO (FCCLA-HERO).
- Recommend the establishment of programs, projects, and activities.
- Plan the program for the state meetings and other meetings sponsored by the state organization.
- Conduct the official business of the organization at the state meeting.
- Interpret and advocate the goals and program activities of national Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and state Association of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America- HERO (FCCLA-HERO) to groups and individuals within and outside the organization.
